Job skills ,  Life skills

Brain training at Gunnedah Library is held twice on Mondays, from 10.30am  to 11.30am  in the morning, and 3.30pm  to 4.30pm in the afternoons.

The programme is focused on keeping brains fit and healthy by involving the participants in such activities as trivia quizzes, spot the difference, word games, memory exercises, non-dominant hand colouring in, mazes, breaking codes, and so on.

Morning and afternoon tea is available and participants are encouraged to arrive early and leave late so they have plenty of time to socialise.

During Adult Learners Week we will introduce some new activities such as origami into the programme so the participants can learn some new skills.  On the 03 September the library staff will also take the brain training programme to the Lundie House nursing home for the residents to enjoy the puzzles and activities.
