Coffee Craft will provide an introduction and pathway ‘taster’ for young adults to the hospitality industry. Participants will be provided with the skills needed in the industry and learn basic coffee making skills. Additionally they will talk to café owners to get an insight into what skills employers look for and learn about further study pathways.

Digital Inclusions is a community-focused not-for-profit social enterprise based in Northern Territory with a goal of helping make the lives of Australians enriched by improving and addressing their digital exclusions in the state. Digital Inclusions provide exciting workshops and face to face in-depth training sessions for over 50’s, people with disability, Job seekers, parents returning to work, Indigenous people as well as people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds

The workshops are designed to deliver a range of resources specifically designed to support the target community to increase their confidence, skills and online safety when they use the internet and everyday technology. They will be able to learn the basics of going online, including:

  • Being safe while online
  • Talking to or seeing family and friends who live far away, more often
  • Finding new friends or old friends who share similar interests and hobbies
  • Keeping up to date with what’s happening in their community and around the world
  • Shopping online, safely and securely, without leaving home.
