Hello all!
Suddenly I am on the ALW international network list, and that's
wonderful. Just some information from our Nordic Baltic Meeting last
weekend in Riga, Latvia:
All the Nordic (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and to some extend also
Iceland) will have or has already had a sort of Adult Learners Week this
year. This is the fact also concerning the Baltic States (Estonia,
Lithuania and to some extend also Latvia). This is great news, and news
is also that the national umbrellas for liberal adult education in our
countries will play a central role in planning, coordinating, running...
And therefore we - the umbrellas - will apply to The Nordic Council of
ministers for money to set up a Nordic Baltic Network Project to
evaluate our Weeks and change experience - as you do on global level.
Adult Learners Week are becoming to be a Global Movement with I also
hope ICAE can play a constructive role in.
Greetings
