PEOPLE & CHANGE AT TOWER
Learning and development at TOWER is largely the responsibility of the ‘People & Change Team’. This includes a group of dedicated learning professionals who design and deliver training and development solutions to the entire business. The benefit of having an internal team is their responsiveness to the business. Learning programs include process and technical training, product and industry training, management development, coaching programs, a staff newsletter, and a suite of service modules.

Opportunities for external study and other appropriate external courses are also offered to staff, as is an emphasis on work life balance including promotions on health and well-being. This compliments the holistic view of our people being the cornerstone of TOWER’s success.

For Adult Learners Week, TOWER will again be taking the opportunity to promote to our people the options and value of life-long learning including what we can offer employees as well as what is ‘out there’ for additional personal development. Our emphasis is on the broad definition of learning – from formal training to having a conversation with an experienced colleague. An Expo will be held on Learn @ Work Day as well as a ‘Great Debate’ featuring the humour and talent of many staff and managers including our CEO’s.
